Almost all
of us, at one time or another, need to take a snapshot of our screen
but how do you do it?
One of the simplest ways is to use the Windows inbuilt mechanism and
that is to simply use the 'Print Screen' key on your keyboard.
But sometimes that's simply not good enough for your needs. Maybe you
want to capture just a part of the screen, without your mouse pointer
appearing in the shot and maybe you need to capture a complete
scrolling window. Now that's impossible using 'Print Screen'.
But if you use a nifty tool called Fastone Capture
then it can all be done really easily. And it's free - no charge or
e-mail required. Just download and install. Great piece of software.
